The Accounts & Finance team at Gardline provides a wide variety of services to a large number of Group Companies and subsidiaries. Due to internal promotions and moves within the Group, a trainee position has arisen for a suitable individual to join the team and build a career in accountancy with Gardline.
This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious, career-minded person who wants to work in a diverse, fast moving and growing organisation. They should also have the passion, drive and awareness of the commitment to succeed in an accountancy career, as well as the technical aptitude and intelligence to contribute to the team from the start.
You will initially learn the practical aspects of working in an accountancy team, developing your skills through gaining experience of being involved with a variety of projects. You must have a positive attitude towards solving problems, have excellent attention to detail to produce accurate work and communicate confidently with a variety of internal and external customers. Strong IT skills, particularly Excel are required and any experience of accounting software and databases would be an advantage.
Gardline has a commitment to its trainees as well as established staff, recognising the importance of continuous personal development and offering the opportunity to undertake studies relevant to their work. The company will support the successful candidate through professional accountancy training to CIMA standard as well as the practical work based training and support.
